Amazing animal mums

For Mother’s Day, the spotlight at Salzburg Zoo is on some of the zoo’s star mums and their offspring. Our young snow leopards, Basanti and Raju, are currently a particular hit with visitors, whilst their mother Malou keeps a watchful eye on them and cares for them with extensive grooming. Other animal species also demonstrate impressively how diverse maternal roles are within the animal kingdom. This special family tour offers the perfect opportunity to learn more about family life in the animal kingdom and to discover the close bond between mother and young.

What to expect:

• Engaging educational content and themed animal exhibits
• An exclusive tour with a limited number of participants

2pm –  Zoo guide welcome visitors at the main entrance 

• Dworf goat

• African penguin

3.30pm – Zoo guide says goodbye to the visitors at the penguin enclosurev
