Night Zoo 2026

Just don't sleep through the best part!

In August 2026, Salzburg Zoo will be open until 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays (last admission at 8.30pm) and will offer all zoo visitors a special programme in a unique atmosphere. From 5.30pm, an extra fee will be charged: € 3 for adults and € 1 for children (aged 4 and up) in addition to the regular admission prices. The restaurant „Das ZoO“ will be offering special culinary delicacies until 9.30pm Registration is not required.

What to expect:

• Information stand and creative craft station in the entrance area
• Guided short tours with animal enrichment
• Zoo keeper talk
• Night zoo quiz with great prizes (only available in German!)

• No registration required
• Last adminssion at 8.30pm
• From 5.30pm , an event fee applies: € 3 for adults and € 1 for children (aged 4 and up), in addition to the standard admission prices
• In case of bad weather: the event will go ahead with a restricted itinerary
• Programme language: German
