Sparefroh is visiting Salzburg Zoo!

Look forward to a wonderfully colourful family day full of fun and creativity.

On Saturday 3 October 2026, Sparefroh will visit Salzburg Zoo and learn lots about its inhabitants. And, of course, there’ll be plenty of fun and creativity too.

Programme overview

Design your own rucksack and take your own personal memento home with you.

Get your favourite animal tattooed on your forearm.

Dive into a colourful world of animals with friends or family in the photo booth.

Of course, Sparefroh will be there too and is looking forward to lots of photos with everyone.

At the new Southeast Asian House, you’ll learn fascinating facts about one of the world’s most endangered species of wild boar, the Visayan warty pig. Find out why these special animals need our attention and protection.

By the way: one warty pig still needs a name. Come along and have your say on what the animal should be called.

No registration required!
