Summer holiday programme

The holidays are finally here – time for plenty of adventure! The summer holiday programme at Salzburg Zoo offers curious explorers unforgettable experiences.

Together, we’ll explore the colourful animal world at Salzburg Zoo and get to know the unique characteristics and personalities of the zoo’s animals. From the impressive snow leopards and elegant flamingos to the lively short-eared elephant shrews – every animal has its own special features to show off, and there is plenty to learn about them. Every day, a little surprise awaits the children, giving them an even deeper insight into life at the zoo. Of course, there’s also plenty of time to chat about what we’ve experienced and let off steam with some creative crafts together. At lunchtime, a special menu awaits the young participants at the zoo restaurant ‘Das ZoO’ 

In the end, the little adventurers will not only go home with a wealth of knowledge about animals, but also with lots of wonderful memories and new friendships to take home with them.

• Monday, 31. August to Friday, 04. September: daily from 8.30am to 3pm, On Friday the programme ends already at 1.30pm
