Colourful zoo tour

... Semester holidays with a difference

An exciting and colourful tour for young and old alike: guaranteed to keep boredom at bay during the holidays! Together we will discover the fascinating world of colours in the animal kingdom. We will visit colourful macaws, find out how sloths sometimes cleverly ‘disguise’ themselves, why poison dart frogs have such bright colours and why flamingos are pink. In addition, we will make a colourful surprise for our capuchin monkeys together.

What to expect:

  • Guided tour of the zoo for the whole family
  • Illustrative knowledge transfer and presentation of themed animal exhibits
  • Exclusive tour with limited number of participants
  • Working together to create enrichment for the capuchin monkeys

Itinerary:

9am –  Zoo guide welcomes participants at the main entrance

  • Red panda
  • Two-toed sloth
  • Pink flamingo
  • Dark red macaw
  • Crested capuchin monkey
  • Poison dart frog / Azure-winged and yellow-banded tree climber
  • Jaguar

11am – Zoo guide bids farewell to participants at the jaguar enclosure

 

➤ The family tour takes place in all weather conditions.

  • Family tour starts at 9am at the main entrance.
  • Cost: Children €4 plus zoo admission, adults zoo admission only
  • Number of participants: maximum 25 people.
  • Programme language: German.
