For detailed information about animal sponsorships, please contact ✉ werdepate@salzburg-zoo.at or ✆: +43 662 820176-16. Your contribution to an annual sponsorship supports our work and benefits the animals entirely.❣️

With a donation, gift or bequest, you actively support the efforts of Salzburg Zoo to preserve nature's treasures for future generations. Your contributions help us to continue fulfilling our mission in the future and to bring our visitors closer to the diverse beauty of the animal world. As a non-profit organisation, we depend on your support.

Even when it rains or snows, a visit to Salzburg Zoo is always worthwhile. The animals behave differently in different weather conditions, so there is always something new to discover. In the various animal houses on the zoo grounds, many of the zoo's inhabitants can be seen regardless of the weather. All in all, every season and every type of weather has something appealing about it, because the zoo always shows itself from a different side.

Tours and programmes take place regardless of weather conditions. Please ensure you wear appropriate clothing for the weather – rainwear or sun protection. If bad weather is forecast and you do not wish to participate, please cancel in good time (at least two days in advance).

Guided tours are conducted exclusively in German. English zoo tours must be requested separately.
