Our menu features a wide variety of dishes: fresh, regional and seasonal, prepared with the finest ingredients and attetion to detail! Because the cuisine at  „Das ZoO“ restaurant is not only uncomplicated and tasty, but also made of the highest quality.
We have tailored our diverse range of food and drinks especially to families. There are popular children's menus for the little ones, while adults are spoilt for choice between salads, daily specials, burgers, wok dishes, pasta and many more.

At the café we offer a wide selection of homemade cakes, delicious chocolate croissants and savoury paninis for your „coffee break with a view“.

Rhino kiosk & vending machines

Our Rhino kiosk is located next to the southern white rhinos. Enjoy refreshments and snacks while experiencing our mighty neighbours up close. The kiosk is open during the holidays and when the weather is nice.
Vending machines, stocked with drinks and snacks, are available at the lion enclosure. A beautiful seating area with the best view of the African savannah and the surrounding mountain landscape invites you to linger.

Shop

Small souvenirs and mementos play an important part of a visit to the zoo. In our shop you will find many small presents and unusual gift ideas for young and old alike.

„Das ZoO“ as location for seminars and events

Our spacious multifunctional room at „Das ZoO“ restaurant can accommodate up to 50 people. This provides you with a truly exceptional location for your seminar or meeting. We are also happy to make our well-maintained premises available for birthday parties, Christmas parties and other celebrations, and will provide the perfect culinary catering.

We know what children want. That's why we have put together a birthday package especially for extraordinary children's birthday parties at Salzburg Zoo. Our birthday package can be combined with other offers at the zoo (children's tours, favourite animal, zoo school, etc.). Please reserve your desired datewell in advance.
